SPEC WAR OPS: A Pictorial History of the Australian Special Air Service Regt
Editorial comment by Managing Editor John Hunter Farrell
A&NZD Facebook page
The Military book of the decade, A&NZD's outstanding SpecWarOps is the culmination of more than a decade of painstaking research resulting in almost 400 extraordinary images of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment compiled into a breath taking limited-edition, 100 page hard cover coffee-table book.

SpecWarOps images were drawn from A&NZD's Editor John Hunter Farrell's personal files and from a wide spectrum of other sources ranging from ex-SAS Operators through to amazing pix drawn from the SASR's own photo cell.

When initially published in June 2002, SpecWarOps caused a major controversy with the book mentioned in parliament for lifting the lid on the highly secret world of the Australian SAS for the first time.

Only a few remainder copies remain, hurry now before the last of these very rare books are sold!

PEACE MAKERS: INTERFET'S Liberation of East Timor
PEACE MAKERS: INTERFET'S Liberation of East Timor was the first and remains the best hard cover photo history of the Australian led INTERnational Force East Timor's restoration of law and order in the chaos of post referendum East Timor in September 1999.

PEACE MAKERS captures the events of September 1999 through to February 2000 in more than 350 photographs and 48,000 words giving the reader a total insight into the pro-Indonesian militia's madness and the tough steps taken by the Aussie Diggers, sailors and airmen to liberate the East Timorese from their torture.

The best selling 100-page, hard cover colour photo history of the ADF's Involvement in East Timor, Peace Makers was written and predominantly photographed by A&NZD Editor John Hunter Farrell who entered the shattered territory with the first waves of Aussie troops.
